JOIN OUR TEAM! The City of Lander Police Department is seeking qualified candidates for the position of a Lateral Police Officer.

Located at the base of the Wind River Mountains, you are within minutes of many enjoyable outdoor activities, including; hiking, camping, fishing, rock climbing, mountain bike riding, ATV riding, hunting and many other active endeavors.

The City of Lander offers a very generous benefits package including: medical, dental and vison insurance; (10) paid holidays, sick time and vacation time; and participation in the State of Wyoming Retirement program. For certified Patrol Officers with (1) or more years of experience, the pay range is $52,000.00 to $59,075.00, annually. Placement and salary depends on experience and qualification.

Our working shifts are four (4) days a week, ten (10) hours shifts. This allows you three days off every week to enjoy the local activities. Lander has a low violent crime rate and is a great place to raise a family.
