Annual Report for 2022

  • In 2022 we responded to 134 calls for service which was up from 119 in 2021. The breakdown of these calls are as follows:
  • 36 Fires: Including buildings, mobile homes, vehicles, grass, brush, and other fires.
  • 16 Rescue and Emergency Services Incidents: Including EMS Assists, and Motor Vehicle Accidents.
  • 19 Hazardous conditions calls: These include Gas Leaks, Fuel Spills, Carbon Monoxide, Power Lines down and arcing or faulty/ shorting electrical equipment.
  • 14 Service Calls” These are Business and school inspections, Fire Drills and Assisting Police, EMS or other agencies.
  • 25 Good Intent Calls: These are dispatched and cancelled en-route, no incident found, smoke scares or odor of smoke.
  • 24 False Alarm Calls: These are faulty smoke detectors and alarm system malfunctions or pulled fire alarms.

Of the 134 calls, we were on scene an average of 42 minutes and 16 seconds per call.

Had an average response time of 6 Minutes and 14 seconds, this is from time of alarm to time on scene.

Majority of our calls occurred on Mondays and Fridays between 2 and 3 PM or 6 and 7 PM.

Along with the calls the members of the department participated in 17 training opportunities that equated to 1,708 hours of combined training. These hours do not include outside training classes that individual members attended.

We currently have 26 members on the roster and would ideally like to see 35 plus.
